Like to know why though . Air leak , bad mix , crap oil etc etc ....

 

They're going to strip it down to find out. Bad mix would have been my first thought if it hadn't been brand new and only ever run on Aspen. The engine turns over (they freed the starter eventually) but won't fire. As they said, it's like the plug isn't fitted.

So you ran it on aspen from the get go ? Thats you off the hook completely then . when they say its like the plug is not fitted , is that because of no spark or is that coz there is no compression ?

First thing I thought. No, it's Aspen 2. At least, it's in the Aspen 2 bottle...

 

I would ask them to check it . If you dip your finger and thumb in and rub together you can usually tell if there is lube in there .

Buzzing from the muffler? Possibly the piston fitted the wrong way round, ring caught in exhaust port and broke. Buzzing caused by piece of ring rattling around in exhaust?
