Hi mate, not at home but was about £560 for 1000 from Highland Fuels. Let you know exact when I get home.

We're in a local consortium so get a discount. Worth checking with your neighbours to see if that's what they are doing.

I live in the south east, and belong to an oil club, and we paid 54p a litre back in April this year.

I try to get topped up well before winter as it is usually cheaper.

It is a very good time to buy at the moment. The price has dropped, but may not stay low through the winter months. Prices tend to go up in the winter due to supply and demand. Also shop around, some oil companies ( I can't name names), will give you a crap price if you have always bought oil from them.

We had an old lady contact us because we put a flyer through her door, and she had been with the same company for years. They were charging her nearly 70p per litre, our price was nearer 54p.

So it pays to shop around.
