I think you will want a double axle balanced trailer of one sort or another for a hiab/timber trailer , mogs+heavy trailers are evil things to drive on rough old roads because they are relatively softly sprung, you tend to get launched around the cab when towing any kind of weight on a drawbar .

what hitch is on your mog, this will dictate your maximum weight, and as your using for domestic, not agg, or forestry, you better be very certain you get everything spot on, anything over 20mph, air brakes, correct speed ratings on tyres, all lights ok, basicly to full commercial stds, and plated to boot!!!. your best bet would be to look for one of the 4 wheeled european style drawbar trailers, less weight on drawbar, and suit the mog perfectly

Domestic jobs with a mog with chipper on front and trailer on back that's some big domestic property you will be working at.

You will find a solid floor with poles best as I have as arb wood do's tend to be diffrent lengths.

Thanks guys, all this ImageUploadedByArbtalk1413137929.236975.jpg.7dcab3c76c649f7fe03e0047257694e2.jpginfo is really helpful.

We run 2 trucks: LDV & tw150 and the mog. With a trailer we'll be able to turn our bigger jobs round much quicker.

On the front I think mate, then it could double as a car recovery trailer as well when needed ( we have a fleet of different vehicles )

Thanks Treequip, Our new mechanic used to work for VOSA so he's well up on this kind of thing. What would be our max train weight? It's a 1250ag registered as agricultural....

Thanks
