Hoping you can help me here guys and girls, becasue of a lack of tree work i have looked into getting a second job behind the bar of the local pub on evenings and weekends.

 

They are wanting to see a CV so for the first time im going to have to write one, now not having a clue were to start im hoping you guys can give me some tips and point me in the right direction :001_cool:

its best to have a simple layout

along the lines of

personal details (name, address, phone etc)

previous employment

education

relevant skills

references (work and personal)

 

then a covering letter where you just sweet talk them and say why you want to work for them. say what you can bring to their company. they like to hear that....

other than that, just be yourself and don't bullshit

 

sure you'll be fine - pulling pints is easy

Give the open paragraph one of these mate

 

"Im an individual who copes well under pressure and is always quick and willing to learn new skills, im an effective and enthisiastic team member, who possesses excellent communication skills. Above all, i am hard working and determinded, Will always adopt a positive attitude to any working environment, Continually striving for self improvement and professional develpment."

 

That should work a treat, worked for me so far anyway!! :001_cool:
