if there are any hoses that look a bit iffy replace them any hoses that are near bodies fit some of the spray guard on them it works really well . the machine that had the blow out i wonder if the recoil bolt was broken as there is quite a bit of energy stored in the springs

Was always warned about the high pressure jet washer (proper 2 handed jobbie) when i worked at sea. Something about the super fine particles being able to get into the bloodstream and cause major issues.

I was looking after a fleet of diesel jetting machines in 1990. Harben century 10,000 psi at 10 gallons a minute. I was called to an accident on the flight deck of HMS Ark Royal. A young lad had cut his arm off and it was presumed lost arm in sea. Luckily I found it behind the wheels of the trailer. He had used insulating tape to lock the trigger on and then passed out in the sun. Unfortunately the water jet does so much damage you cant sew the limb back on.
