We sat and watched these for about four hrs today, amazing beasts and so comical at times. I picked up a few climbing tips aswell so I'm gonna put the receipt through the books. Truly awesome and a little emotional at the same time. Such a crying shame to see such beasts locked up probably forever........Mind you having said that I would'nt mind a gorilla hand ash tray.:laugh:Only kiddin, dont dive on my case fella's.

Was that Port Lympne Mick? Or the Canterbury one?

Awesome beasts. Those big old silverbacks have that 'don't mess with me' look, don't they.

He was probably thinking - I wouldn't mind his head as an ashtray!

Bekesbourne Canterbury. That silverback was laying down all morning just watching what was going on and quite content, then a group of noisey people came round and he went berserk in a flash, charging up and down for a second or ten. It happened so quick. A truly awesome spectacle.......
