strimming in the dark

the best bit is he had reflective clothes on hence we saw him in the dark. but had no head protection or eyes. in the pitch black. what if he had hit something and it flew back and hit him in the face or body. what would he have done then. plus there are cables running around island should be underground but know what utilitie companys are like for burying cables.

total nutter. no urgency to strim in dark. if had got hurt the HSE and insurance company would of had a field day plus his manager for allowing it.

I'm guilty of strimming in the dark. Was sub contracting on the north devon highways contract when they go round and flail a strip down the side of the road. Once i had done all the flailing i also had to strim out all signs and because of penalty clauses we had to get it all done ASAP so ended up strimming signs etc in the dark. Not ideal but a means to an end
