iv had a look on the manufactures website and it looks like a nice bit of kit for the money, but i presume it will not be that good for planking (compared to a bandmill), more for cutting larger dimensioned timber?

Used one of these three weeks ago. Super simple bit of kit. Very reliable, very accurate and quick especially cutting multiple boards. Max cut is 12"X8, but really makes its money cutting planks boards and construction timber. Simple to move and set updated better on a low purpose built trailer. Suspiciously low price. Surely too much of a bargain. Reckon as soon as a bid placed will say reserve not met.

Says barnsley on the listing but I didn't think any of these in UK. Googled every sawmill, timberyard etc in barnsley region - found nothing, anyone else know where it is. Seller not answering any questions. Becoming more suspicious.

The seller has never sold anything before (which is not neccesarily a bad thing, but also doesn't seem to have bought anything obviously foresty or arby ever on that account).

What make/model is it, anyone know?

Make is mobile dimension saw from mobile mfg of oregon usa. Model will be a 128. To get one over this side of Atlantic will be looking at bones of 30K

it was on ebay about 6 months ago, but cant remember where, i judged a book by its cover and passed it by as i though it was a fairly old racksaw affair that would be a lot of hassle, but after looking into it it looks a fair machine.

from what you guys are saying some scammer could have copied the photos and description when it was on and then re-posted, i have seen this done with a lucas mill earlier in the year, i knew that was a scam as i spoke to the guy the first time around and he was in wales, the second time it was way up north scotland with stupid cheap delivery and no feedback, seen that with a few felder woodworking machines too, but this is bolton, so not to far, might be worth bidding on and going to collect with cash to see if it exists!!!!
