Mate of mine was told by his friend who runs a non franchised Land Rover garage, average repair bill is £1000 as the body has to come off for items like alternator to be replaced!!

Who's running Disco 3's or 4's quite fancy one and interested in owners opinions / problems etc...

 

HI DAN ask steve what he thinks he will tell better with a VW AUDI mate much better truck ive run disco 3 se 1st ok HSE D3 one of the last ones it was a joke thanks jon :thumbup:

Hi Jon, I tried an early disco 3 at the weekend and liked it.

Would you say better of Tourag route?

Biggest issue with the 4 is bushings… Same as the Sport…. Nearly a service item… maybe they have solved the issue but up to 2013 was a big problem!

I've had our Disco 3 for 8 years,( 56 plate) its done nearly 100k, its had bushes ONCE!!.

 

Its cost nothing like £1000 per year.

 

The timing belt cost under £300 and that included replacing one of the tensioners.

 

Its always people who don't own them that tell you expensive they are to maintain :001_rolleyes:
