Which saws do you prefer in the woods??

Yes 372 is 3/8

My thinking is being a higher revving saw that a smaller chain or .325 should be better for it?

 

 

All depends on your preference mate, I've used 262xp's and 362xp's on 3/8, when I ordered the standard 7 spline, it came with 3/8. A 560 will pull happily on 8t 3/8, as for rpm, it runs just as fast as the 372xp

3 tanks today climbing then ringing up oaks, I was grinning like a loon at how fast it was getting through it.
