Hi guys, a quick video of the last day of removing this 100ft tree in South Devon, definitely my biggest takedown yet, and one of the most enjoyable, nothing more satisfying than sending down BIG GEAR!

(had to leave so many large diameter stubs on the stem as all of the bosses ground saws short of the 660 had gone bang and wasn't fair on the 200 to munch through such thick slabs)

Gray git due to access we were dragging along that path he ran along and burning it all, at the time he was only raking up pine cones as a time filler job.

Atree- the stem stayed in one place but when cutting down the stump one ring took off, across the path, dropped down through the garden, straight through the hedge in to next door and luckily fell into a deep patch of nettles!

yeah.... bit of character building never hurt anyone! but seriously, like I said above all he was doing was raking up pine cones, he was aware of what was happening and I had my eye on everybody and where they were!

Valmet7- I'm self employed and work for a few people dotted around the area, are you a climber as well yourself? cheers

I worked with a groundie back in the early / mid 90s who had a target painted on his helmet . He was in and out quick as a Cobra strike lol . He's nearly 54 now and still has a target painted on his helmet . His character is massive and he lifts the team everytime Ive worked with him . A true fruit bat though . Love him I do  Nice job by the way
