Thanks everyone, loved the result, just not the journey.

 

now that's a proper porker, well done mate.

 

how did long that take in the end?

 

Good question, priced for one day but it probably took two.

On top of that I wasted best part of a day cutting rot and metal out of the first log before giving up and using another piece.

I'm turning the first wasted log into a doggy so its not a total balls up.

Some jobs go better than planned, this was not one of those ;}

At least the pig came out looking good.
