I'm really interested in the ST8. Are there any issues running a tracked chipper when it's on a trailer (ifor tt105)? It just occurred to me that I'd probably leave it on the trailer for upto 30% of the time.

A tracked chipper on a tt105 would be a bit high, I use my gx84 plant trailer when I need to make my tracked chipper a tow behind. I use my tt105 when I need to take tracked chipper and HB20 grinder to jobs.

Can you remove the hopper off the forst chipper like you can on the timberwolf 150vtr to get through narrow gateways etc?

You could take the hopper off the ST8 but it still won't fit through a gate. It's an 8" chipper therefore a bit wider than the ST6.

I should add from my post earlier that I have a Jensen A540di so I'm able to make a direct comparison.

The ST8 is basically like taking an A540di and making all the improvements you'd want.

Oh, and for the guys that think a transparent fuel tank is the closest thing to God, the ST8 has one!

Have you been using one? Really looking forward to seeing it.

I used it yesterday. I'd definitely buy one because it's an excellent product and Redwood provide excellent support. IMO those are the two elements that will cost you the most, if you buy the wrong chipper.
