looking for laburnum timber

hi all, i'm on the lookout for decent bits of laburnum to use for making very small skittles. the stems need to be 6-8" as i intend to quarter them and make 4 pins from each length. if anyone has any trees coming down in berkshire then i will happily take delivery of the large bits.

length is not a factor as each skittle ends up 6" tall but i need the width so it can be split as described.

Looks like it was a lovely tree, shame it's gone! I'd love a Laburnam like that in my garden. I hope, at least, you get the tree now it's down and make good use of the timber.

i wont be turned in to lots of nice bowls unfortunately (well one or two bits will) but turned in to these skittles. although its not quite as good as boxwood it's a good substitute and that's what i'm after.
