Had a sit in one at a Landy show a few years ago but not to drive. Would be excellent to get into the woods! Same weight and power as a Landy!

 

Not too sure on that. I know when the MOD replaced the Land Rover 101s with these, they needed two Pinzgauers to do the job of one 101 and the drivers need to be specially trained. They are good looking motors though and there is a six wheeler available as well.

Pinz.... That's the one. It looked quite handy. Anyone tried and tested?

 

Driven these loads. They are very capable once drove one down some very large extended steps about 18" high but about 6ft wide and obviously very steep. Once I got to the bottom I turned it around put it into 2nd gear low box and engaged the diff locks which you can do on the move. I then drove back up them. They are very capable and good fun. The new MoD ones have an auto gear box which is pants!
