It's here, wanted to wait for the signwriting but what the heck.

No John, I could not reclaim the VAT on a 200hp model unfortunately.

 

Can I ask why the 200bhp model can't have the VAT reclaimed? It is a weight issue?

I think you'll like it anyway, I love the suicide doors and the dog seems to have adjusted.

The VAT/TVA is because it's a bit luxurious/unnecessary I guess, a bit like the 4door/4seater issue.

Fair enough. For all intensive purposes it seems to qualify but I guess you might have an argument on your hands if you receive a VAT inspection, particularly if it's 'only for business use'.

 

I wonder how this works with the Amarok or the 3 litre Navara for example.

However...

You still could have bought a 4/5 seater 4x4 as a personal vehicle and charged your business the official tax rate per km.

This often works out far more lucrative.

If I was a sole trader I'd be doing exactly that.
