heres a picture of mine with a full load of chip on, the reason we opted for a spacer is if you get a stone/piece of wood etc between the wee gap of the sidewalls,it could well puncture or damage the tyres by rubbing, so the extra 10mm spacer gives it a tad more room because as you can see the gap is very minimal when loaded.

What tyres are they mate, and what's there payload? Looking to get a set for a transit I'm in the process of buying
