Nice! What sort of crane is that? It looks like ones I had on Bedford tk and ford d series 30 years ago, what’s it carry?

Its a Hiab by the look of it. What size crane is it? Is it piped for a grab and rotator? Its a similar but newer version of mine with more sticks.

Its a hiab 144-4, 4 extensions, reaches 14 meters at ground level, about 700kg at full reach. it’s now got a grab and rotator on it, all remote controlled.

 

Load capacity of 8ton. I’ll raise the sides sometime to give 20m3 volume capacity

That’s a decent size and spec crane. Is it a 7.5t front axle?
What size grab have you gone for? I’m jealous of your extensions, I looked into getting another extension for mine and it was going to be £3k plus fitting for another 1.6m reach.

Yeah loving it mate. Not uprated the springs yet as it’s just been used for tools and towing the MEWP/Trailers. The 4x4 system is amazing though, I’ve been through some horrid terrain and it just pushes through really well.
