Husqvarna 3120xp

Had any one used the husky 3120xp saw? Been offered one by a friends grandad for £600 with an Alaskan Mill, 42" bar 36" bar and loads of ripping chains and normal chains.

Think the saw is 2007/8 and he says it's had less than 15 hours use.

Cheers

if you don't want it pass us the fellas number eh? sounds like a bargain but worth checkin the saw over anyway....i usually whip the exhaust off any saw i might buy if used and have a look at the piston to check for any scoring.

a friend of mine is selling a 3120 with maybe 60 hrs work, 50'' bar and 30'' bar and alaskan mill etc. he's trying for £1400 and reckons it cost him £1800/1900 quid new.

i have never used a 3120 mind you, so can;t offer any advice there.

Can't see the saw having done only 15hrs. but still, the Alaskan, bars & chains, (providing they in good nick) would set you back not far off the total asking price. Throw in the saw too and you have yourself a bargain.
