Evening,

Got this to remove as it is in decline, it all needs lowering as the paving below cannot be marked and there is a private driveway below which is out of picture. It looks better than it actually is but there is loads of dead wood in it. I am tempted to bring in a manned mewp for a day at a rate of £550 + vat. People's opinions and input would be appreciated whether you think I am doing the right thing. I want the job as the timber is mine to take also.

Thanks

Andrew

If you need to ask perhaps you should bring in a climber instead?...:001_rolleyes:

Ha ha am a bit inexperienced but I would still rather ask for advice than make a balls up!

550 for a mewp is quite a lot for the size you'll need to do that tree. I pay 600 for a 26m tracked mewp operated and 330 for a 22m cabstar Including vat.

Facelift in Newcastle said a 34m lift would be required.

There is not much in carlisle for manned mewps :-(

And with not having loads of experience I would prefer a manned one.
