i have the older version of this one, with an extended bed and supernova self centering 4 way chuck, ifi get time il take some pics of the stuff i have turned in the past.

bowls are my speciality and when i have the patients i can achieve a glass like smooth/ shiny finish :D

my dad had been woodturning for about 15years, it saved his life. when he was off work with depression and stress a friend got him a laith, he ws the most crabit, bad tempered, impatient old git you could imagine at the time(i understand now why) he learnet patience and found a hobby. i will get some pics of his work for you lads. he is always scrambling through the log pile at the yard with a big spray can marking all the bits he wants for the laith

Had it in mind to give it a bash, but not got round to it yet.

I like the vase David, thats a cracker!

Does anyone have a list of woods that can be turned wet, I know Laburnum is one

Here's some "tools" I turned on my engineering lathe and a bowl turned from Laburnum by an appreciative recipient of some free wood for turning.

The "Tools" are NOT for street use :sneaky2:, they are preists for fishing or Game shooting :001_smile:
