I had given him a deposit via paypal which he refused to return unless I cancelled the transaction, hence no negative feedback!!but I got my deposit back!

Was is this one ?

Ebay told him off, I would be suprised if they even bothered contacting him.

That was the one, I'd asked him about the back as I could see the rust stains and he said it was just a bare metal bed thats why it had surface rust!!!

I did a similar thing about 15 years ago when clean Landcruisers were hard to find. Mint in the photos so my brother and me two flights £30 ea did not need return as would be driving back on ferry. Got there it had a respray and stuffed interior tired old wreck. Plane back was £200 ea. I now buy close to home where ever possible and add the £400 + delivery and buy a better vehicle.

There's always a few dodgy listings for nearly new chippers for little money! Infact there was a towable Jensen on the other day which wasn't right!!

The market for commercial vehicles is a sea of shite, and finding a good one is like a needle in a haystack, IMO that's why I never travel far when looking at a used commercial vehicle, I will travel a good distance for something like a motorcycle. but some things arn't worth wasting your time on for a potential saving. I learnt the hard way as well :)

They look like two of a pair. You may have dodged a bullet in that the 'good' one was also in the same nick underneath.

The good one in the picture was probably sold over a year ago and they just keep pumping out what ever turns up.
