No it would be used like a regular vehicle on the road, not as an estate vehicle or yard vehicle.

driving in winter with no sides. would freeze to death!

most utv companies will supply fully glazed cabs with windscreen wipers heaters radios possibly aircon

hydraulic tipping bodies and think some can do 45-50 ish

better offroad same carrying capacity and come from reputable manafactures

plus there cabs look much more roomy than that van

I am sure i have read an article in a magazine a while back about a vehicle bodybuilder, (in derbyshire i think ) doing an after market conversion on the jimny to a pickup. Also if my memory is correct, when the original sj / samuri came out didnt they do a long wheel base version with a fibreglass top that could easily converted into a pickup.

I remember when everyone knocked the jap stuff, look at them now. That looks like a cracking little truck for the money, you can rest assured that the manufactures will deal with any niggles very quickly and it will be common place in no time. A mate of mine in the west country has been importing chinese tractors for a few years now and they value the customer feedback , upgrades and improvements are almost instant. They want western trade.
