New toy

[Big Beech]

Picked up earlier today.

Not as fancy as some of you guys big toys but hopefully i can convert some of my planks in to things i can make stuff from!!

keep an eye on the fence as aluminium wears faster than iron and can warp in the heat or cold of the day...

It wasn't quite what I was after but it was free and still come in useful

Metabo is a good make being German. Good back up and support from knowledgable technicians in Southhampton

probably one of the handiest gadgets in the shop.

 

managed to buy an old refurbished one a couple of years back.

 

it's made by "whitehead" which i can find very little about but a very good english machine, all cast iron an solidly built.

 

cuts 12" wide but only 4" thick.
