After some advice on spraying nettles in woodland please . Is there a selective herbicide that just kills nettles ? I don't want to use glyphosate and total everything .

I have always used Grazon 90 on Nettles and it works, but be careful not to get it on anything you don't want killed

Scythe them down about now. All the goodness is in the top growth; leave it much longer and the rhizomes will start to replenish themselves for winter.

Then do it next year.

I have strimmed the tops off along the paths , the remainder is so dense that I needs some control . Cheers

Spray with grazon and by the end of the day you will see them going over

Chop a load down and chuck it in a bucket or bin, fill with water and cover. Leave it for a few weeks, stirring it occasionally. Feed it to your tomatoes or chilli plants innit! Top tip.
