pricing- telehandler clearing job

hi guys, got a job needing done on an estate to cut/ clear low hanging branches and general brash along access routes and fence lines.

i'd need to use a teleporter and driver, also a man and chainsaw. The golden question is what should i charge per hour?

Get the prices for what you need ie, man and saw, tele handler etc then add on your cut and hey presto you have a price. I would t think its safe to be cutting trees from a bucket of a load all though unless your a farmer. You would be better getting a cherry picker and someone who knows what their doing.

I'd say they're ideal for use in a field. We use one all the time.

 

For a telehandler with mancrate and brash grab, and two men with chainsaw and polesaw I'd say £60 per hour for agricultural type jobs. You might struggle to get this though.

You just get a price from the guy with the telehandler that's him & fuel sorted then add on the wages for the guy & saw then add your wages plus a bit of top to make it all worth wile, I'd avoid giving any one an hourly rate just price for complete job
