Mt-9999

MY brother in law has in the last couple of weeks bought a MT-9999 from one of our travelling friends. Hmmmmmm, It looks like a poor build quality Stihl copy.

 

Has anybody come across these? Build quality isn't great but is it good enough/safe enough to put petrol in it?

I think it will be safe enough to put petrol in it:thumbup1: Don't stop there though throw the rest of the petrol over it ,flick a match and walk away

I've seen two, and both pissed fuel out the tanks from new.

Many of the components in my experience are made of camembert metal.I wouldnt fancy that thing whizzing at nut height.

Before using it I would run it up at full pelt and operate the chain brake a few times. The one I had in slipped badly and had to replace it and the replacement wasn't much better.
