Best Compact Digital Camera for around £150

the f47 fd has the same specs as the f50 fd the only difference is the the f47 is 9.0 million pixel resolution and f50 fd is 10 million pixel but if you look a the pics from both a untrain eye you wouldnt notice the difference but there a difference in price about £40

 

 

i belive the f100 fd is 12 million pixels but there been lot of complaints that this camera show ghost in indoor or night shots

I got that one. Great for work . Canon Ixus is easier to use but I trashed it like everyything electrical. If its for work I would get the Olypmus for sure

Panasonic Lumix meant to be good. 10MP, Leica lens, very small and slim, pretty sure it has optical zoom. Mate in Singapore had one, and rated it more than his Canon Ixus (which is what I have, and still think is good but 5 years old now).

thats what i have it,s got a good optical zoom as well

Very happy with it

my only gripe is i got the one without a viewfinder as sun and snow shots are often hard with the screen

but amazing how many are without viewfinder

I have olympus 1030 sw. Been left out in rain, bashed in work truck, droped in sand and thrown in the dogs water bowl.
