Yes and ended up spilling more than ever as it's the same crap design as the husky cans that after a few days don't click closed when you pull em out and I had a saw chew open a soft plastic can on the way too a job, lucky only lost about a litre.

Like said 25ltr and little tap would suit me better just for convenience.

Hi,

This is the first I have herd of A FillPartner failing. Did you ever use it for normal petrol?

The 5 litres have to be made from this type of plastic to be recyclable.

Please PM me

All the best

I had a fill partner a couple of years ago, it broke. Part of the plastic snapped. I didn't send it back as it was free.

I made the switch (Aspen to MotoMix) yesterday, and didn't notice any difference at all. Smell is the same, or at least I wasn't able to tell the difference.

Thanks:thumbup:

So your saying if I use aspen im a lot healthier? Bs .....a few fumes over the day makes little difference compared to what we breath in to start with plus a lot of arbs smoke so its pretty pointless to worry a bout a few petrol fumes.

Hi IC,

I understand what you mean that switching to Aspen will not save the world and compared to other sources of pollution the use of chainsaws only produce a tiny amount of emissions.

The point is your exposure to Benzene and the other 100 plus toxic chemicals contained in normal pump petrol.

If you can smell the exhaust of your saw then you are breathing in toxic fumes.

Have you tried Aspen?

For a fair test a machine that has used normal fuel and 2-stroke oil needs 2-3 tanks of aspen to burn off the old oil in the exhaust and give you the much nicer cleaner exhaust from Aspen.

If you ever use a saw in a confined area or hedge cutter you will notice the difference with the first tank.

For anyone not sure what a Fill Partner is, its the grey one. The green is the old Huskie one.

The new huskie one looks similar to the Fill Partner I believe.
