Hi all i climb on a double rope system ,knutt knot hitch climber,

what is the best way to do a re-direct so ropes run smoothly? Any pictures of explanation would be Appreciated cheers.:thumbup1:

Double pulley would work better, no doubt.

Can you get a swing-cheek one so its attachable mid-line?

Yes and I used one for several years and it was always a pain. It was just a time consuming fiddle and doubled rope re-directs are far from perfect.

Joking aside, the reason I climb on a single line now is for the re-direct advantage.:thumbup1:

Does anyone know a good way to make a retrievable redirect with one of those isc re-direct pulleys? I have one and tried to figure out a way of using it for a bit but gave up and just went back to a biner!
