Some advice on price to charge please. I have 30 ton of ash that I have cut up into 100cm and 50cm lengths. These were mature trees! Trouble was, I had no where to store it. A friend offered me some space outside and he has a big wood burner. Kind of got me thinking that in the interest of cash flow, I could sell it off quick. Anyway I offered it to him for 3k. The wood will owe me about £900 by the time I have finished transporting it, including labour cost. The wood is green and round lengths of what I have stated and all ash. Is this too much or to little?

Thanks Gary

Friends are friends and business is business keep them seperate :001_smile:

Once that pile arrives at his yard watch how quick the price drops . Then if no deal is agreed that pile of Ash will slowy start to dwindle away . Just my opinion no disrespect to your mate . Its just how I see it

Storing it there is not a problem even if he does not but it and there is no mis Trust, I currently work there 2 days a week. How much is the real price of it? What other people would get?

I would have thought £50 per tonne would have been nearer the correct price, how do you know there is 30 tonne? how are you moving it?
