Are Cougar and Cougar Blue the same rope?

Yea mate. Although if you want to be pernickerty some people say different dyes effect the stretch in the rope :sneaky2: ... apparently

I had terrible elbow issues for a while. It's an overuse issue. Started light lifting and strengthening and I haven't had issues for several years. When some muscles are too strong and others are weak they can pull your whole body out of wack. The best thing you can do is a conditioning program outside of work. It is a mistake to think that doing this kind of work is all you need to stay in shape.

I hear you Kevin.

I've been doing weights for over 30 years.

The tennis elbow issue flared up years ago after using Yale Blaze for a while (climbing old school with my arms), but I can usually control it.

I'm pretty set on the Cougar Blue but Treestuff are out of stock. Damn!

I use Yale lime light 11.7mm and climb both double and srt, works well with a pantin and other accenders, it is a little bouncy srt but nothing too excessive but then again it's the only rope I've climbed srt on so don't have much to compare it too. (Had Samson arbormaster before, too fat for a rw)

Not sure dude I have both and there is a bit of a difference. The blue is more static and a stiffer rope in my opinion and flattens less when going through the SJ
