I'm after a power pruner. I'm thinking Echo PPT265ES, however my supplier is saying go Tanaka TPS-270S, he says same quality but less money?? Any thoughts please.

we've just bought our second echo and i think they are a good quality pruner but parts are very expensive and we've had a few issues with shaft bearings but that was down to water ingress I've never used tanaka but what I've heard they are also very good

The difference in price is only about £40 so tempted to go with the Echo as its been a bit more tried and tested?? Unless the Tanaka is a better machine??:confused1:

Got a husky hydraulic back pack 1 not doing a lot that could be for sale if you want but you need arny arms for it!

The most important consideration when choosing a power pruner is that you buy an Easy Lift Harness at the same time.

I'm not from Horley but married a girl from here.

If it was a dump when you lived here, it still is.

Ha Yeah looking back wasn't the nicest place but probably better than now. I lived in Greenfields Rd off meath green. My m8 farmed at Landens. Happy Days!
