Power Pruner Choice

I'm after a power pruner. I'm thinking Echo PPT265ES, however my supplier is saying go Tanaka TPS-270S, he says same quality but less money?? Any thoughts please.

we've just bought our second echo and i think they are a good quality pruner but parts are very expensive and we've had a few issues with shaft bearings but that was down to water ingress I've never used tanaka but what I've heard they are also very good

The difference in price is only about £40 so tempted to go with the Echo as its been a bit more tried and tested?? Unless the Tanaka is a better machine??

Ha Yeah looking back wasn't the nicest place but probably better than now. I lived in Greenfields Rd off meath green. My m8 farmed at Landens. Happy Days!

Hi mate...I own a echo and a stihl ht75....stihl cuts quicker but echo is built better although heavier.
