Isolate your tippers

Got called out to the yard at 1.30am this morning with the van on fire. Its a 59 plate transit with one of those stupid tipper control boxes which asks you lots of questions before you're permitted to tip which sometimes can have a mind of its own when tipping.

It seems the unit has switched it self on and tipped and carried on tipping till the units electrics set on fire.

Due to a spate of recent break ins we have a night watchmen on who smelt the fire and quickly came with the extinguisher and called me out.

Lesson learned - isolate the tipper

of to go and try and lower the bed now and see if she will start, it would't last night

A lot of these modern tech gadgets are bloody irritating . Whats wrong with a switch . Up for up and down for down . Always used to work ! . Imagine having a pair of strides that asked if you really want to open your zipper when you ate bustin ' for a wazz ? Bonkers ...
