Neck elastic vs chest harness vs LOTS

Recommended Posts

how does your helmet attach Dan :)? i dont really get the issue with neck elastic being dangerous (though make sure its good quality and doesnt snap and fling into your eye)as its no different to helmet straps really...

Gravity and ear defenders mostly :) I know where your coming from but the chances of a helmet being lifted off, pulled backwards off your head and then upwards aren't very likely imo. I've had my lid lifted off once by a tree and I was glad my chin strap wasn't done up in that situation.

The chances of something getting hooked in the back of a neck elastic are higher imo and I wouldn't want a hoik from it into my neck.

It works sweet with SRT for access using a croll. Maybe because I did a few pines in Norway my hitch and RW became a bit sticky. Lately I have been using a Lyon tape sling figure of 8'd and worn like a rucksack.

Probably time for some new hitch cord. Haha.
