Just wondered if any of you guys play guitar as I'm gonna be selling a few of my mine soon. Gonna post them on Gumtree in the next few weeks, just thought I'd run them past you guys first to see if anyone's interested......

First up is a late 70s Kasuga Les Paul, plays very well also looks and sounds great - £120.00. Kasuga used to make guitars for Yamaha before they set up on their own, they later became known as Tokai - very well respected guitar maker.

Also be interested to hear from any other guitarists on what what their playing. Will post more pics of the other guitars if people are interested.

Cheers

TC

I have a Les Paul standard with an Axewraps EVH replica applied and a Flextone II amp.

Thats a nice guitar, proper Gibson, looked way better in black, suppose you gotta honour your hero. Bet that amp sounds good.

Why are you selling your guitar?

Want to buy a new one, semi-acoustic Peerless (see below) and can't justify the cost outright , so selling my others guitars to fund it.

Here's my next guitar for sale - Ibanez Jet King 1, as used by Jack White (White Stripes) and one of the guys from the Mars Volta. This is an excellent instrument for all out rock, punk and blues stuff, humbucker pickups = big sound - £160.00 . The mark on the alloy effect scratchplate happened when I peeled off the protective plastic wrapping, its purely cosmetic.

cool pieces of kit guys, does Air guitar apply?:001_tongue:

Why air guitar when you can have the real deal for £120! Just learn three chords and you can play 'wild thing' and be the envy of your friends and family.....never too late to learn.

How much for the peerless ?

I have had many guitars, played in bands since i was 14, was semi pro for 15 years, well known on the UK rockin scene as the Rockets, played rockin/jump blues/rockabilly/R n R.

Was lead vocals, rythym guitar and harmonica we shelved the band in 2000 after 6-7 yrs.

Played most major bike festivals, Bulldog, Kent, Ace cafe, Bath & West in 1996 we did 76 gigs.

My favourite guitar is my Telecaster, favourite amps fender twin/musicman twin. I know many in our trade are/have a musical inclination, Jonesie is one of them.

Played for 25 yrs. Really into acoustic blues and have; National for slide, 70s Fender acoustic and a couple of cheap Squier strats.

Trouble is I never seem to improve nowadays :-(
