Best mobile for getting a signal?

I use an Oakley case with a XtremeMac Tuffshield cover. If you take care cleaning all the crud off first and cleaning the grease off then this screen cover stays on well.

im the guy on the advert for samsung experia z1:biggrin: i wish. but i am with EE 4g and as yet not found i can not get a signal. and work in some out of the way places, i got 3 phones when deciding which provider and went to a signal blackspot i knew. vodaphone no signal O2 one bar then none orange 3 bars plus. and then upgraded to EE and thats better, and the sony is a cracking phone have a leather wallet for it so its kept clean when not in use and very pleased with it. and i have taken pictures under water with it. when they saw me do it they just said thats your phone wrecked. out it came with a picture on and fine. hope to try it properly under water when i do some river restoration work.

must look into the clip on zoom lens that looks good who needs a camera:thumbup:

Lumia on EE. Absolutely no isssues and I like the 'phone. I will be Nokia loyal for life. Hate i-phones.

 

I think smartphones are all gadget, no aerial. Get a Nokia 6610 breeze block - I keep one in the glovebox for emergencies.

Iphones suck for signal, mine stuggles to get a text out while my guys on the same plan can talk to the whole universe on there cheap ass nokias, sonys and my wifes samsung.grrrrrr

I have an iPhone 5c on Tesco mobile, i think they use o2 signal, but I get signal most of the time, but when I don't, you really can't get nothing!

I keep an old samsung solid b2100 on a £5/month contract as backup, often find it has signal when the smartphone doesn't (despite being same network).

I'm on EE sim only and when my Samsung packed up I bought cheap Chinese Android Jellybean phone on ebay and it has been fine for signal and works just like any other. For £45 if it lasts a year I won't complain.
