I saw Old Mill treecare using one recent..with beeline....he really likes it. I Iike the one I saw you posted Tony...the spiderman/web version...very good idea.

I wouldn't be with out mine. At first I was a bit sceptical about it but once I started using it I never looked back. When I came out to Aus I couldn't fit it in my luggage so left it at home, It didn't take long before I got the misses to ship it out here though

I've been using one since they became available and really like it.

At fisrt I mounted it as it's supposed to be but then cut a hole and rotated it and found that it is much smoother, as you can see in the picture Silky posted above.

 

It's not completely perfect solution but for me, it's a lot lot better than not having one.

Well worth the money.

What happens when the rope is knackered tony? Can you replace it easily?

Not a problem, I've taken mine apart to remove the ratchet anyway.....it's all do-able!
