Couldn't do it again if I tried

Hahaha, no I was working for a secure mental hospital, that fence was the perimeter fence, behind the tree was a 20ft security fence surrounding the excercise yard.

But I dont think any of it was "current" fencing

There was a bit of confusion when I turned up on site, they tried hushering me back inside thinking i'd "got out" :001_tongue:

Ha ha ha. Talk about truth being stranger than fiction: you just couldn't make it up could you. Still tittering now...:001_tongue::001_tongue:

Ring dropped from about 20ft, was supposed to drop between the tree and the palisade fencing, I slightly misjudged it but no damage to the fence.

It just stopped dead :001_tongue:

slightly misjudged??? I would call it more lazy.

Ask Ian (IC trees) how much quicker cutting and chucking is as opposed to lowering

3 trees to do:

2x Ash all lowered = half a day each,

one poplar cut and chucked = 20 minutes

I wouldn't call it lazy, more "efficient"

haha, I was jesting mate. I know exactly how quick cut and chucking is, or straight spear cut slashing.

But now you mention it. look at the photo of the chunk of wood on the pallisade fence and call that "efficient" again.:001_tongue:

Your lucky mate, if i had slightly misjuged it the pallisade would have come down like a row of dominoes destroying a 50+ year old rose bed and a brand new honda civic.

also only the boss is allowed to not admit a mistake and blame something totally unrelated, like " argh a fly just went in my eye just before i let go ".:001_tongue:
