my car insurance with the Nfu has payed for the cost of the recovery because the trailer was listed on the policy

Excellent. I've always found NFU to be the Rolls Royce of vehicle insurance, and happily pay a little extra than the cheapest online every year for the professional and personal service.

You have 4x100 PCs wheels on your trailer. The same size as: golf mk1,2,3 lupo, polo and their Audi and seat counterparts, mk1 and 2 fiestas, capris and some escorts, Suzuki swift, daihatsu alto, Honda civic, Renault clio. Mazda mx5 and many many more...

 

Flag one down sweet talk them into letting you gave their spare, pay them handsomely, sorted.

no they are 20.5x8.0-10 and dont come about easily becasue they are small and wide

Your tires may be 20.5x8.0-10, your wheels are 4x100 Pcd...:001_smile:

 

Anyway, it was just to add to the "closing of the stable door" volley of "would have been solutions" that offer you no help at all. They may offer some suggestions should anyone else find themselves in your situation though.

Definitely not when the highways agency get their tape measure out and charge for damage to the road surface:001_rolleyes:

 

Not like they would struggle to find where you went.

 

Most road surface's are trash anyway . Its probably because the roads are in such poor condition that the tyre got poorly in the first place :thumbup:
