tough type c trousers

hi guys,

i'm looking for some advice about trousers. my hi flexes are falling apart, i'm fed up with stitching them all the time.

are there any trousers that don't get ripped on all these sticking out branches and twigs?

Pfanner are pretty tough . I don't have type C but have 3x type A and they haven't ripped yet ....

I have just got a pair of SIP Progress Type C's. The Green ones. First day the phone pocket got caught and ripped slightly bu the sewed back on easily. Other than that the material feels muh stronger than the Hi Flex and I find them a lot more comfortable too.

I know plenty of lads who have the stretch airs and all rate them for being tough and durable. Never tried them myself.

Stretch airs are very strong slightly heavier than the hi flex but worth it.

I asked about type c here because i thought that they are required for tree climbers but somebody told me lately that they are recommended not required. how many of you guys use type a climbing or how often do you get asked to use type c rather than type a?

i'd prefer to buy type a but i thought that i need full protection?

I've got a pair of stihl x-fits which are a lot better than hiflex but a fair bit more expensive. Have you considered a pair of stein kreigers? They're really hard wearing, I'd definitely recommend them.
