Thanks to Jojam for directing me to this site and thanks to Steve Bullman for activating my account.

 

Looks like an interesting site.

 

My name is Doug, I have run a small Forestry and Tree Surgery business for about ten years. I was previously based in Sussex but trees have taken me all the way to Scotland. I have a small customer base of private clients but the bulk of my work is as a freelance, qualified operator for some good firms up here.

 

I look forward to reading your threads and looking at the pictures.

Hello all, Cary Gibson here, from Brockville, Ontario, across the pond right on the shores of the St. Lawrence River Owner and sole climber of Gibson Tree Care.

 

Right now climbing in a Weaver Cougar rope bridge saddle, looking at buying a New Tribe as well, both 1/2"and 7/16" ropes by Samson and All-gear. I climb with either a Distel or VT, 30"and 32" respectively , use a hitch climber pulley and DMM ultra "O'" 's

Hi, what a great site. I'm a climber (and groundy, when i have to be) for a local authority, which is good but can get very frustrating, hoping for some interesting banter(to act as therapy,haha), cheers, may all your anchor points be true.
