Looking to buy a timberwolf 150 but with about a £5000 budget... How many hours will the engines do??

As said, great engines.

Rust seems to be the demon on older 150's. Mine had 940hr's (on the clock) and came fully serviced for 4k, 2003 model so the age shows in the bodywork, nothing a repaint couldn't hide (on the to do list).

It works and chips johny but rotor is unbalanced I think and blades pockets where it bolts on are a bit knackered.....dont want anyone to injure themselves so going to break it.

cheers Matty

shouldnt take much to rebuild it , make a good starter chipper for some chap
