There used to be big trade in stolen Ifor trailers

They were knicking and changing chassis plates

Changed plates were either genuine or very good copies

After this Ifor used to write chassis no on chassis with weld before they galvanised it.....

 

I put new back on old stock trailer that had rolled over

Farmer had parked it at side of road for years

Because it looked new it was knicked within a month

A lot of replated knicked trailers were advertised in birmingham autotrader

But that was 10+ years ago

We've had a few in pale blue trannys doing the sub 5mph drive by in the Ivybridge area. Been blocking some gear in and sharpening the dogs teeth just in case
