:confused1: No, but the HSE take notice all saw injuries and make life more difficult for us pro's.

The less saw incidents the better, IMO.

But you don't like it yourself ?

But you don't like it yourself ?

Never used it and don't want to, but then in 20+years of saw use I've never cut myself so why would I?

Many people do cut themselves, so the I'm not going to claim saws are safe for all.

I was under thr impretion it was also to force better posture while useing the saw stooping you from leaning o er the saw and get you squating rather than bending over . That sed still wouldent what to use one

:confused1: Who mentioned XP saws?? is it only fitted to them?? I've only seen it at the APF, did not look of uses to me, but thought it could be OK for those less familiar with saws.

I saw it at APF too. Just thought it looked cumbersome and a prime candidate for getting bent / snapped off. Can't say I'd be keen on buying one.

You said " its a good thing in my opinion " Are you for it or not ?

Why do I need to be either? :confused1:

I don't feel its for me, but don't feel the need to slag it off when it may help others.

The point is to make the saw safer.

One brake handle is enough for me , 30 + years cutting wood only . Not myself . But if it saves somebody from a cut then let them fire ahead .

One thing for sure , it's all about opinions . I wouldn't want a trio brake .
