Carlton SP2010 30HP Kohler Command engine has more than enough power to deal with everyday stumps.

The Sandvik Razor Cut System is by far the best and quickest on the market today, a simple 24mm socket and ratchet is all you need to change teeth and with the correct maintenance skills the tooth life is extemely long.

If its a good pedestrian grinder you are looking for why not take a look at the 13hp FSI ST20B, excellent grinder for narrow access, very powerful for its size and has a slew ring for easier grinding. and all for around £4k + VAT.

take a look at our website............

The hydraulic grinders the rayco 1625 and vermeer sc252... the 3rd wheel will it cause problems in boggy places?

No, but having the dual wheels is a must when dealing often with slopes.

In addition: Hydraulic = no tired shoulders.

If you unlock the drive wheels and the ground is even, you can turn them on the spot.:thumbup1:

But already had some places where only my pred 350 fitted in, while I had large and/or many stumps where I was very happy to have the 252 instead of holding a (propellered) pedestrian all the day in my hands.

cheers

Got a Vermeer 252 and it's a cracking machine. It has it's limits as there are newer more advanced machines like the bandit 2150 that are much better now.i think that's only 29inches wide as a option. Hydrolic machines are more productive depends how many you do. I also have a predator 350 for the smaller narrow access stuff which I prefer over some of the other 13hp machines out there

They got a good write up in the hort week kit test. The D67-720 looks a nice piece of kit at a nice price as well.
