Shredded pallets?

Could be a problem with binding together and bridging in the hopper above the auger as it won't flow very well, could be almost too dry for some systems.

Whats every ones thoughts on this wood chip?

Good stuff for chip burners?

If you use that wood chip you will be very sorry. It will take some shovelling out as it won't go through your system.

As said by (Niel I believe )use dry chip or it will rot. Aim for 20%mc

Hire a good quality biomass chipper such as heizohack or muzmax.

Chipping brash can be difficult with these chippers though as the twigs can go through the screens

Its not the quality of chip I am concerned with as very few boilers will be capable of using it as is. The problem comes when it is reprocessed into wood pellets and sold as first class pellets eligible for RHI which clearly its not as the timber source is normally recycled pallets or demolition timber.
