whats with the bench felling, are you backs stuck :001_tongue:

More a case of only had 25 inch bar and limited time. I climbed it and felt the thing move so banged a rope on tied to a landy and crashed a saw above the butresses.

Got called to a tree on Friday by Frank, 50-60ft beech, meripilus victim, basal flare had a big crack in it, tree lifting in gusting winds. .

 

 

 

Out of interest, when the Tree was dismantled on the ground, did anyone get to note how far up the Trunk the decay went?
