I really like it, its light, low stretch, packs up small due to its flexibility, has been wearing well for me and the orange is is easy to see in the tree.

In its size range only the Poison Ivy is its rival thats a very good rope too.

I like it, very light, which is something I thought I wouldn't worry about but it does make a difference, flakes almost flat in the bag, looks like you have half as much rope, difficult to grip I have found in the wet, even with gloves but that could just be me.

i have not had any difficulties with griping even when wet, it is an excellent rope and i have got two tachyon ropes - green and blue (37m) and orange and yellow (45m), they are both easy to see but the green and blue stands out very very well, i also have a orange and blue tachyon strop which is also easy to see but not as easy as the green, another good thing is that they don't require much milking when new, and they are very soft, flexible and light. i would definitely recommend one :001_cool:, hope this helps.

our standard stock rope is blaze

i have been on tachyon to try it for 11 months now and really liked it but have yet to decide if i am going back to blaze

the only downside for me is if you used mechanical stuff with it been 11.5 does not fit or run as well as blaze

has a softer fluffier feel than blaze:001_rolleyes:

Just to throw a spanner in the works..

climbed on it today for the first time, didn't like it all far too stretchy. Seemed like it was 2 up 1 down affair during the assent and seemed to have too much bounce when out on the end of a limb.

just not my cup of tea, was very light though.
